We went to Jamaica, Sandals Royal Caribbean. There are a few things I would like to bring to your attention.
1-The beach on the private island and the main beach is not good at all- it is NOT like the pictures sure the water is clear but the beach is barely there, you can’t go far at all and it’s really small.
2-The private island is REALLY DIRTY, If you walk behind the bbq area its like a dumping ground.
3-The construction is an eyesore and huge.. no matter where you look that is what you see. and it’s loud.
4- Room service is AWFUL!!! they never answer the phone EVER. you have to call the front desk after you’ve already tried calling numerous times from them to transfer you and even that sometimes doesn’t work. On 2 separate occasions they claimed that we never ordered anything and never brought the food. Their minimum time for room service is 45 mins.
5-They don’t have much to do on the grounds if it’s raining. we even tried to do an excursion and we were denied that because of the rain.
6-Even though it’s no tipping- we were still asked for tips on a few different occasions.
Overall people are friendly there. but everything takes REALLY long to get whether it be food or a drink.
7- we were woken up SEVERAL times (before 6am) by accidental room service (“oh sorry wrong room”) Also, they do very loud work WAY TO EARLY right outside the rooms I think we slept in once the entire trip.Air Canada- The way there, they did not seat us together, I had to fight to get a seat together and when i asked to upgrade to first class because there was one available we were told that “our ticket class was not eligible to book that fair”
The way back was even worse… I asked to move and they refused.
